Dog Walking Services

At Domesticated Dog Walkers, we recognize that just like people, dogs need daily exercise. In fact, exercise is imperative to keep your dog happy, healthy and stimulated -- both mentally and physically. It prevents obesity, reduces behavioral issues and helps with training.

It’s not just a “walk”. Many dog walkers offer only a few quick laps around the block. Not us! Our walking sessions last a minimum of 30 minutes and can be as long as one hour. More importantly, our sessions are designed to meet your best friend’s needs. Not only will your dog get plenty of exercise, but this exercise will be customized to his/her needs and abilities. We go over your training techniques and mimic them to reinforce your dog’s leash training regimen. If you are trying to get your dog to stop pulling on the leash or to sit at intersections before crossing the street, we will do the same.

We provide one-to-one leash walks to maintain your dog’s safety and to ensure that he/she is the main focus.  Solo leash walks are best for puppies that are in training, as well as elderly dogs and dogs that are timid or difficult to control. Occasionally we offer paired walks, but never more than two, as three is a crowd! This depends upon your dog’s temperament and ability to make friends.

Walking sessions last for 30 minutes with a maximum of one hour. Please let us know your preferences.

We provide pick-up and drop off service at your home and walking services winter, spring, summer and fall.

 All services include fresh water, treats, feeding and medication per your instructions. Also no poop gets left behind!

Wet and/or muddy paws will be wiped as well as towel drying on wet days will be done, as needed.

Rate reductions are available for multiple dog households.

Payment Methods: We accept payment through a variety of methods, but we encourage you to take advantage of payment via credit card. We accept, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Credit card payments for regular daily or weekly customers will be processed at the end of each week.
